I know there are many DRM-less games on Steam as well but it's not guaranteed.Īlso this is the biggest reason why I don't buy consoles that are not hackable. Even if GOG goes down I can still install them (or install a VM first if we're 50 years in the future) and enjoy them once again while it could happen everyday that Steam, Epic, Origin, uPlay and Battle.Net are going offline and we're doomed. The greatest thing about it though is, that I can download my GOG library at any time to keep it at a safe place for. It shows that games can perform very well without Denuvo and other DRM shit. Wow, I really appreciate every "big" release that happens to GOG but also every indie dev that decides to release there (as well).
